The LBOA values education and personal development.  In order to get referees' focus back on basketball and off the beach, the LBOA Executive offers THREE education clinics each fall season.  These sessions attempt to capitalize on all the learning modalities: online, in the classroom, and in the gym. We tailor one session specifically for veteran officials, and two sessions for introductory (1st or 2nd season) referees.  We also try to mirror the CBOC Level I course material at our classroom/gymnasium sessions, so that those officials who are interested in advancing up the provincial/national ranks, will have these standards met in their certification. If you are an ambitious, aspiring referee - don't fret!  We will help you become comfortable blowing your whistle.
